1959 - 1960 Corvette: Service Bulletin: Calibration Revised to Correct Lean Condition at Wide Open Throttle

Subject:   Calibration Revised to Correct Lean Condition at Wide Open Throttle
Model and Year:   1959 - 1960 Corvette Models
Source:  General Motors of Canada - Service Bulletin
Bulletin No:  NA
Section:   Page 52
Date:  June 15th, 1960

A revision has been made to the high performance fuel injection, part #7017320, by changing the setting of the wide open throttle stop approximately 1-1/4 turns rich, beginning with unit serial #1356.

These units have been further identified by a letter "B" on the fuel meter tag.

On those units built prior to serial #1356, a lean feel at wide open throttle will be an indication that the power stop should be set 1-1/4 turns rich.

The power stop fuel pressure reading for the above unit, as shown on the chart on Page 63 in the 1959 Product Service Bulletin, this Section, and on Page 10-24 in the 1959-60 Maintenance Manual Supplement, should be changed to 2.7 with the 1-1/4 richer setting.
