Corvette Driver Arrested After Going 155 MPH in Arizona

Apparently, Jake Anthony Aiello, 25, had some place to be in a hurry and his C7 Corvette Stingray was just the tool to get him there.  The only problem: you can never outrun the radio as he found out.

State troopers from the Department of Public Safety clocked Aiello flying down Interstate 10 in Phoenix, Arizona at 155 mph on Saturday.

He was quickly pulled over and arrested shortly after.

This is reckless, incredibly dangerous and a great way to get yourself arrested – not such a great way to start your new year. Please drive responsibly & #SlowDown!,” posted on Twitter by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Aiello was later released, although it’s unclear what charges he’s facing.
