Awards and Feedback - Corvette Action Center

"I never thought I would acknowledge a website in a book, but the Corvette Action Center site is exceptional and is clearly run by enthusiasts with a real and deep interest in the Corvette. In a virtual world dominated by the C5, the CAC is very strong on the C4. I am deeply indebted to them for permission to use their tables of C4 statistics, the important RPO numbers, and in particular their research on the no-cost option codes that appear on the Service Parts Identification Label, and I recommend their fascinating website."

CM Award "Show of hands - how many of you dream of owning a Corvette one of these days? I'm betting many. It's fast, it's sleek, it's beautiful. It's a dream, all right. It's also expensive. If you already have one - good for you. If you can afford one - go get it. But if you can't - you got to have something to do until that great day when you will proudly drive your Corvette home from the dealership. For that purpose, check out the Corvette Action Center."
"Corvette Action Center has shopping, tech center, forums, resources, events, and so much more. It's an invaluable site for any Corvette enthusiast, whether an owner or not." - December 10, 2001

"Just found this site, and am very impressed. I own a C4 and do professional web development. Your forums are about as good as they get - for content and usability. Ironically, just finished a forum project for a major bank; and have to admit yours leaves mine in the dust."

"Rob, by way of introduction my name is George Royle. Home is Ottawa Canada.

I have been involved in Computers since 1976 starting at the Operations level(mainframe), programming(Mainframe Cobol)and now Management & Administration of Volume Electronic Mail, production of which is done on 9 mainframe type high volume printers, located in the 5 main postal plants across Canada. Desktop / NT & Unix are used to oversee, govern and transmit over a large network.

So as can be seen I have a good grounding in the machines, the programming craft and professional looking output. It is un-important to me as to where the output goes (paper , terminal) it must however be well organised, well thought out and well presented.

This web site is excellent and easily achieves all the above. Quick to load, fast to move around in, well documented and very well done...Thankyou"

"I want to tell you, I've been looking around the net at various vette sites since I'm an expecting father for one, and, I have to tell you, this site is head and shoulders above the others I've visited. There is a wealth of information and reference material and it is very well organized. Someone works hard on this site!"

"Hi, I have a 1998 coupe; my first corvette. It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. This is just the greatest site. I am not a mechanic minded person but the wonderful people on this site gave me a lot of information. Thanks to all. John."

"Just wanted to drop a note to say ...WOW... Finally a complete 'vette site, I was searching for an old restoration shop that I bought parts from years ago, and up popped this site. Now bookmarked and I will tell several others about it. Your efforts are much appreciated."

"My compliments to your web designer and arcitect. I find myself getting lost within your different sections, lost in the fact that I find more and more each time I think about moving onto a different part.
The information you have gathered here in one location is amazing. The forums are different than what I've seen in other car rooms. You have a great site and the cream of the Corvette family participating."

"I just wanted to pop in for a second to say that of all the Corvette resources and sites that I have read or visited, (and I have been an owner/enthusiast since the sixties) yours is second to none. The information is plentiful and the photos spectacular. I love the format and will be making this a regular stop on my internet visits. Please keep up the professionalism and continue to work on this great site. Our hobby needs a one stop resource center to help us with the enjoyment of our beloved car, and I feel your site will be it. I am in Canada and would love to be of help to you in promoting and developing your site."

"Thanks for being around as long as you have - this comes from a long time lurker. You all have helped us a bunch over the years ("you all" being this site and all its members). If there is anything I can do to help support you, please let me know - you really are that important to the Vette community."
