| Model Year Highlights |
- 1975 would be the last year for the Corvette convertible until its debut in 1986.
- This was the first year for catalytic converters on a Corvette as well as the first year for HEI (high energy ignition).
- The rear bumper on the 1975 Corvette was a one piece design vs. the two piece design of the 1974 model year. Structurally, the bumpers used for this model year were redesigned.
