The record album as we know it is not long for this world as the new music media known as the "CD" is introduced. Carburetion on the Corvette is replaced with a new Crossfire Fuel Injection system which is composed of two electronically controlled fuel injectors and a specially designed manifold. The fuel injection system is operated by Chevrolet's new Computer Command Control.
