- 1954 Corvette production started in December of 1953 in a renovated St. Louis, MO assembly plant.
- 1954 Blue Flame Six engines either came with 150 or 155 hp. The higher horsepower motors were equipped with a different camshaft which when into production during the 1954 model year.
