You Could Own This 2007 Corvette Convertible with Only 18 Miles On It

While it’s not uncommon to see much older Corvettes being unearthed with minuscule miles on the odometer, and it’s actually kind of rare to see a brand new C6 Corvette come up for sale like this one.

A couple days ago, this beautiful Arctic White 2007 Corvette convertible came up for sale on the Bring a Trailer website with only 18 miles on the odometer!

It was originally purchased by the current owner from Bill Stasek Chevrolet of Wheeling, Illinois and is now on consignment by the selling dealer in East Lansing, Michigan with complete documentation including a clean CarFax report and Illinois title.

As you can see from the photos below, the car is in mint condition and looks like it just rolled out of the showroom.

This particular example came well optioned with the 3LT trim package, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, chrome wheels, a 6-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission and an AM/FM CD radio with DVD navigation system.  Simply press the power-top button down on the left-hand side of the dashboard, and you’re ready to take in the sunshine and enjoy the open-air feel of a Corvette.

Production

2007 was the third year of the C6 Corvette generation and while there weren’t really any major highlights to speak of, Chevrolet did roll out several enhancements making the Corvette a more friendlier sports car to drive.

Some of these enhancements included Magnetic Selective Ride Control that could now be combined with cross-drilled brake rotors which were previously only available with the Z51 performance package.

The power-controlled convertible top now came standard with the top-of-the-line 3LT interior trim package which this Corvette came equipped with.

According to our production numbers, only 676 convertibles were built in Arctic White out of a total of a total of 10,918 convertibles built for the 2007 Corvette model year.

Performance

The 2007 Corvette was powered by the LS2 6.0L V-8 engine that produces 400 hp (298 kW) and 400 lb-ft of torque (542 Nm) which was a carryover from the previous year.

While today, we may laugh at 400 hp given some of the high horsepower numbers we’ve seen roll out of the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly plant since then, the 2007 Corvette was no slouch back in the day.

It could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds and cover the standing quarter-mile in 12.5 seconds.  That was quicker than a Porsche 911 Carrera or Jaguar XK8 and comparable to a Ferrari F430.  Thanks to the Magnetic Selective Ride Control system, you didn’t sacrifice ride quality for performance like you did in some of the more expensive sports cars above the Corvette.

While it doesn’t have the blistering performance of the Z06 Corvette, with just 18 miles on the odometer, you can’t go wrong with this Corvette convertible.

The current high-bid on the Bring a Trailer website is $24,250 which is an absolute steal considering that the original MSRP was over $65,000.  With only five days left in the auction, it will be interesting to see at what price point the gavel will fall for this beauty.

If you’ve been looking for a low mileage, pristine C6 Corvette that’s obviously been well taken care of, you can’t go wrong with this one!
