Owner Kirke Porterfield says the Corvette Z51 was the top of the line, the best they made in 1992.

I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like ice cream, and if you love ice cream as much as I do, and live in Ohio, you could land yourself a 1992 Corvette convertible without even purchasing a raffle ticket.

Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream in St. Clairsville, Ohio is celebrating their 30th anniversary in business by offering up a Black 1992 Corvette convertible.

Anyone who buys a dish, a cone, or a half-gallon of their ice-cold creamy treat, will receive one entry ticket.  Each time you buy a serving of their ice cream, you’ll get another raffle ticket.

Owner Kirke Porterfield says the 1992 “Corvette Z51” convertible was the best Corvette that you could get that year.  However, we all know the King of the Hill, 1992 Corvette ZR-1 was still in production back then sporting 375 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque.

While the base model 300 hp LT1 engine was no slouch for the time, it was no match for the ZR-1’s raucous DOHC 32-valve LT5 engine.

Also, the Z51 Performance Handling Package was dropped after the 1990 Corvette model year and replaced with the Z07 Performance Ride and Handling package.  The Z07 option was only offered on the 1992 Corvette coupe; not the convertible.

Regardless, a 1992 Corvette convertible would be a sweet deal in anyone’s garage and all it could cost you is the price of an ice cream cone!

The winning ticket will be pulled on August 12, on the store’s 30th anniversary, and the winner will be able to drive off with with the Corvette which has just over 50,000 miles on the clock.
