Corvette Collides With Toyota Tacoma, Crashes Into Hotel Fence in Eureka, California
In Eureka, California this afternoon, a 1990 Corvette convertible collided with a Toyota Tacoma at the intersection of West Fourth and Commercial streets, causing the Toyota to land on its side and the Corvette careening into the wall of a local Best Western Hotel.
Emergency crews responded to the scene expecting to extricate the driver of the Toyota out of the vehicle, but the driver was able to climb out of the passenger side.
The 1990 Corvette didn’t fair any better resulting in a crumpled front-end and air bag deployment.
Authorities gave the driver of the Corvette a field sobriety test, but the driver was not immediately arrested. Cause of the accident is unknown.
