CONDITION
General Motors has decided to conduct a Voluntary Emission Recall involving certain 2001 Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette; and Pontiac Firebird model vehicles equipped with 5.7L (RPO LS1 - VIN Code G; RPO LS6 - VIN Code S) engines. Uncertified service calibrations for these vehicles were released in error and subsequently programmed into some vehicles that returned to GM dealers for service during the period in which these calibrations were available.

CORRECTION
Dealers are to reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

Involved are certain 2001 Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette; and Pontiac Firebird model vehicles equipped with 5.7L (RPO LS1 - VIN Code G; RPO LS6 - VIN Code S) engines; and built within these VIN breakpoints:
