Unfortunately, GM didn't keep such extensive records. The only way I know of is to calculate statistically a ballpark figure using the CAC Tech Center info here:

1996 Total production was 21,536 units
Black total production was 3917 =18% of total (21,536)

Total convertibles produced was 4369
CE LT4 convertibles produced was - 469 = 3900 non-CE convertibles were produced

If you extrapolate 18% (percentage of Black Corvettes produced) of the 3900 non-CE LT4 convertibles
you get 702.

At least that's what I come up with. Someone may be able to get you closer to the ballpark.

Does your 96 have the Performance Handling Package?
1869 of 21,536 = 0.09 or 9% of the total production

If you multiply 702 x 0.09 it would be (approximately) 63 1996 Black LT4 convertibles with RPO Z51, the Performance Handling Package.

Anyway, it's still just an estimate.

using this info I found 166 convertibles total. 122 with FE1 base suspension,44 with F45 suspension.thank you for this link
