A6 Transmission
I know there have been a lot of posts asking about better shift control over the A6 tranny.
Has there been any updates or improvements that will firm up shift points?
I am not happy with the way my 08' A6 seems to slip into each gear regardless if traction and handling is on/off. You would think the slipping into each gear would create more heat and wear.
Is there an aftermarket tune that would improve shift points to a more positive feel?
thanks,
chris

Hi there,
"feel" is subjective and I cannot tell you how many A6 I have had to rebuilt because of aftermarket tuning.
Truth is, your clutch engagement is under .40 seconds when driving regular and .35 or less when in S.
Feel means nothing in this transmission, because it is unlike any other rear wheel drive transmission ever made by GM.
