A rattle noise in left side of the instrument panel may be heard on some 2012-2013 Corvettes. The noise may be caused by the tweeter not being secured to the tweeter grill. The curvature of the instrument panel causes the rattle to appear to be on the left side.
Remove the tweeter assembly from the instrument panel. Secure the tweeter in the grill by applying a small dot of hot melt adhesive on each of the three lock tabs. Only apply enough glue to fill each tab window. Reinstall the speaker assembly to the vehicle and confirm the repair.
