The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern

A vehicle may have a concern with coolant loss and/or coolant odor after driving the vehicle.

Recommendation/Instructions

If the coolant is low pressure test the cooling system looking for leaks at the outer head bolts. See below:


If a leak is found the head with the concern will need to be replaced.
