Dealers and customers may question what should be done with the loose shipped brake cooling deflectors, brake cooling ducts, and metal blocker rings while performing the pre-delivery inspection (PDI). |
- Correction
Brake cooling ducts and metal wheel blocker rings are intended for track use only.
Note: The metal wheel blocker rings are included with the J56 RPO brake system only.
These parts should not be installed during the PDI process. Only the front lower control arm deflectors should be installed during the PDI process.
Only install the front lower control arm plastic brake cooling deflector during the PDI process.
The additional brake cooling parts should be provided to the customer. The customer may want the parts installed prior to his or her track event.
