This service update includes vehicles in dealer inventory and customer vehicles that return to the dealership with the coupon that was mailed to them from General Motors.
GM is offering an infotainment system upgrade for vehicles built with I05 and I06 to include the Android Auto Feature.

I took delivery on a ‘16 Z06 in July 2015 without Android Auto. Took it to the dealer last week and they say it is not eligible to be installed. Original Service Bulletin had a date range for eligible vehicles but it now says from ‘start of production thru VIN G5121027‘. My VIN is G5600043. G is for 2016, 5 is for Bowling Green, 1 is for Stingray and 6 is for Z06 so my car is way lower than their document. Service Reps could not understand the 1
I have a â16 Z06 built and delivered in July of 2015 without Android. Took it to my dealer last week and he says it is not eligible for Android because VIN number is too high. Service bulletin now says date range is from start of production thru VIN G5121027, instead of a build date range. My VIN is G5600043. âGâ is for 2016, â5â is for Bowling green, and the last 6 are supposed to be for production sequence. However, the leftmost position of the last 6 for Corvettes is either a â1â for Stingrays or a â6â for Z06, That means my car was the 43rd built. The highest VIN on the Service Bulletin is G5121027 and mine is lower than that. Dealer says they have to use the 6 also so mine much higher and has it included which it is not.
