    Default Saying goodbye

It was a sad day yesterday as I drove my Z16/Z06 for the last time. Putting only 8000 miles on it since 2008, it was clear that our Grand Sport was to become our ONLY Corvette. I'll really miss my Z16, it is one HELL of an automobile. Congratulations to Jim L. who bought it from me, may your smile never fade!!! It was time to downsize and simplify. Nuff said...

Other folks have said we're the caretakers of these great machines, not the owners... Still, bittersweet to see them drive away, isn't it?

Common sense is like deodorant. The folks who need it most never seem to use it and there's no polite way to tell them.
