    OK, Kelly ... will do ... and thanks for checking. I must admit, though, that it's fairly confusing! I'd received that "information" I referred to from the online "chat" service on the chevrolet.com site yesterday - from "customer assistance".

    I don't know where they got their information - but they told me that my order had been escalated to "3000" status.

    Thanks so much for checking on this, Kelly. I really do appreciate your help - I'm not sure how there can be different "sources of information" for this stuff, but apparently there must be! From the customers' standpoint, though, it's very frustrating.

    I completely understand and I would be in the same boat as you!

    I was able to pull up the conversation you had with the chat agent. I am sorry for the miscommunication but he misspoke when he stated that you were at 3000. When he stated your order had been accepted in the system he was referring to 1100, not 3000. I am very sorry!

    Please keep checking in with me and I will continue to check your order number and provide you with as much information as possible.

    Got it! So - when I contact you on this forum (which will probably be far too often!) ... would you prefer that I refer to that "case number" each time, or the "order number"?

    If you talk with anyone else give them both so that they can track it in the same place.
