    Default Starter won't disengage

Strange problem, the starter won't disengage after I push start, it just cranks, car does not start running and I have to push down as if going into accessory mode to get it to stop. Battery is good. Any ideas? 2011 GS

Possibly a low voltage issue confusing all the modules. You say the battery is good, what is the CCA rating of the battery and how many amps did it load down to?

I'll check CCA rating today, not sure what you mean about how many amps did it load down to.

After fully charging a battery, you then need to have it tested to see if it is good. To properly test a fully charged battery a carbon pile tester is used, the battery should load down to 1/2 the CCA rating for a minimum of 15 seconds with the battery voltage not going below 9.6V during the 15-20 second test. After the carbon pile has cooled from the first test, it should then be performed again. That is the only way to know for sure if the battery is good.
