Oil change
Got my oil changed before I stored my car for the winter. When I got ready to get it out last week I checked the oil and noticed that the oil was a quarter inch over full on my dipstick. I went ahead and drove the car about 100 miles. Would you not worry and drive the car till the next oil change or have the dealer drain some oil out?

One quarter inch isn't enough "overage" to cause a problem. One inch may cause a problem however.
Here's what happens~ As the crankshaft is spinning, the oil pool is directly below it. IF the oil pool is high enough to make contact with the crank, then foaming can result. Of course some oils are better at "antifoaming" than others, but it will happen to most all of them if the proper circumstances presented themselves.
Again~ I wouldn't worry about being .250" over.
