    Default Fuel injection cleaning

A few years ago i bought a cleaning kit that connected to the fuel rail and had a can of cleaner that the car ran off of to clean the injectors. Does anyone know where to get this kit as i have not seen it in a few years.

do you have the stock injectors? If you do the cleaner could possible ruin your injectors.

Pull the injectors and pull the baskets in the body.

There's some good pics here how to break them down:

I think Jon FIC told me about that trick...

What is happening with the engine that indicates the injectors may be fouled?

The car has been sitting for 10 years and has a hesitation. I changed the drivers side plugs and wires and the cap and rotor. I will get to the pass side this week.

those cleaners work to a certain extent. It will clean the inside of the injector but it will not do anything to the carbon buildup. If you want to clean your injectors after the car has been sitting for 10 years, have them cleaned by professionals. Clean them up, flowtest them, check to see if they leak, check coil/resistance, spray pattern, get all new parts along with a before and after flow sheet. That is what i call cleaning a fuel injector.....but that's just me.
