Default Do You "Burp" Your New Wires?

Do each of you "burp" your new wires (let possible air out of the "boots") after connection to the Opti and plugs? I mean, Is this absolutely necessary? What are the consequences if the "boots" aren't "burped"? Some of us have never heard of this procedure before. THANKS

    "Burping" your plug boots.

Is that like setting muffler bearing clearances or adjusting frazzlehallet lash?

I used to laugh about muffler bearings until I started working in the parts dept. at a dealership. On a Altima the doughnut gasket is called a muffler bearing seal!
