    Default horn button/collar

it doesn't say on my AIM or my tech manual CD how to actually attach the horn button and the collar that goes around the button to the retainer that clips into the circular collar on the steering column.

there are three little studs on the collar that line everything up, but it did not come with screws or anything and the whole assembly was taped together with masking tape in two spots.

Does anybody know the way to keep the horn button and collar attached to the retainer?

do you spread the studs out with an awl/ by beating out the outer edges of the studs to hold the assembly together?

If one glued it, the button wouldn't go down to make contact so I's very perplexed as to how to get it to stay together. without some method, the button and collar just fall off the retainer ring.

    thanks

    Default fixed it

apparently, according to ecklers tech, you do spread the nubs on the back of the collar to hold it all together, or as he stated, some people mix up some epoxy and stick a dab on the nubs. I just spread them out and now it stays together ..yay

    thanks
