    Default Replacing lighter "scocket"

I am attempting to remove the (female) part of the cig lighter. I was told by the vendor that it unscrews, but it just seems to turn around and around. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

First make sure the fuse is out. You need to take the driver side panel on the side of the console off. Then hold the bottom side of the cigar lighter so it does not spin. Good luck.

Thank you Frank, I was hoping not to get that invasive, but I'll check it out.

Google the lighter assembly so you get an idea how it unscrews.
