Default GM and Chrysler out of nascar

I was watching the kid from Brooklyn, and he had said that the government will not give GM or Chrysler any money till they pull out of NASCAR. Does anyone know the validity to this story???

It's possible under chapter 11 because that would void existing contracts .But chapter 11 has not occurred yet.Plus if it does happen many teams have enough sponsors to keep going without factory support.

My guess is that a pull out won't happen .
