Hi all. My wife and I just bought our first Vette. It's a 93 Quasar Blue Convertible. We are loving the car. It's practically brand new and alot of fun to drive. Winter will come way too fast!

Thanks Jane Ann and others for the messages. This board is much more friendly then the other one I hang around on. I need help resizing my photos to post them. They are huge files now. I've tried to do it in Adobe as well as my camera software (Kodak). All I can figure out is cropping them. Any help in how you work with yours? Thanks

Emmasdad- Welcome. You've found the friendliest vette site on the net.
Have a look here (http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92538) for your photo resizing questions.

And please... don't say that word winter too loudly. Its enough to send some of our members off the deep end :chuckle

Hopefully I do this properly. I'm attempting to load a picture or two of our new baby. Thanks for the resizing help Zozzle, and for sweeping my driveway in the process. I cracked up when I read your email.

I see that you've had some help with your photos already... the link in Tammy's post is a thread designed to help newcomers in resizing their images for uploading. :upthumbs

This is a SWEET looking QB C4!! My first Vette was a Torch Red '94 convertible and I'd STILL have it if I could afford 2 Vettes.

Thanks for your compliments Jane Ann. I really love the car. It has 8000 miles on it and looks and drives like new. Maybe you could help me with a question. Is there a way to find out how many were built in this color? I believe the number in QB was 683 or something close. Is there someplace I can find out how many of those were convertibles? Great site, love all the interaction.

I hang out on a snowmobile site too, as I am an avid snowmobiler. I haven't been there to visit since we bought the vette. Nice folks here.

Love that Z-28, is it a stick shift? I also had a 72 Z-28 silver; she would haul the mail :lou

I downloaded the picture resizing software. I think I have the right size. 1MB seems to be the ticket. I'm still messing around with the original photos. I'll take some more soon. Hopefully at a better time of the day without the glare or the Grand Prix, ugly bush, or puke green house in the background. I bought a car polish kit as well and I hope to do some detailing before we make our first trip to Carlisle. Thanks for the help.

Only 8000 miles?!? That's GREAT!! She's still brand new!! :upthumbs My C4 had 78,000 when I bought her.

Beautiful 'vert!

As for the question of QB convertibles produced, check out this thread How to determine uniqueness - Click ME (http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61246)

There's no sure fire way to know the exact number, but by using the Model Center info for your Corvette you should be able to extrapolate a number somewhere in the ballpark.
