Hi All,

I just finished doing a bunch of work on this baby but need to get an idea of what it is worth.
The only surviving (there were 2) Callaway Vette Ranger Prototype built with a Callaway 1988 Vette Motor

Recent Respray to the color it was painted in 1988 when the work was done by Callaway.
This is the truck that appeared in Road and Track and Automobile Mag article.

Suspension and Brakes redone. New Carpets and REbuild seats and covers.

80,000 miles on the chassis, 50,000 miles on the Callaway Conversion.

Try the COG forum, I wasn't aware that they made a vette powered rover. Most of us troll here too so you might get some feedback. First I would call Joann at Callaway Cars to confirm the car. Big John or CC are you out there? Do you know anything about this?

Got some answers, Yes, Two were built, one is a rusted out hulk. Seems you have the lone Ranger!

What's it worth? Who knows. Not a whole lot is my guess, but some great Callaway history. I did start a thread on the COG site

A 1\1 Callaway anything has collector potential.

It's an interesting piece of Callaway history and that is likely the factor which would influence the value of your Ranger most. I would think a prospective buyer would be a Callaway collector, not someone looking for a used Ranger.
Good luck with the search and welcome to the Corvette Action Center.
