    One word...fannnnnnnnnnnnntastic!

It's a great place to share our info (needed parts), pain (damage or failures), and excitement (driving and showing). I can't tell you how many C5&6 owners have ogled and commented on my Ruby! Thanks for keeping this forum going.

Default 93 torch red 40th coupe

My 93 coupe is a totally amazing fully loaded torch red rocket. Is that ok or does it have to be ruby red? I understand the significance of the ruby, they were also offered in other colors .

    Default Torch Red?

My 93 coupe is a totally amazing fully loaded 40th torch red rocket. Is that OK? or does it have to be ruby red? I understand the significance of the ruby, they were also offered in other colors, I feel like a second class 40th anniversary owner.

    Default rubies

All 93's are 40th anniversary models but only those ordered with the Z25 option which is a special anniversary ruby red paint, seats .... are considered rubies

    Sorry Mr Vette,

All '93's are 40th anniversary "models" but only the Z25 package makes it a true Ruby, or 40th anniversary "edition". There were just over 6000 built as Rubies and 240 or so are the more rare ZR-1 offering. I'm sure your torch red is pretty snazzy though! My Ruby has every option also...

    Default New owner

It's been awhile since anyone added his or her name to this list. I bought my first Corvette a couple of days ago. It's an anniversary edition coupe with an automatic transmission. For some reason the options list isn't in the glovebox (or am I looking in the wrong place?) I ordered the window sticker and build sheet from the Museum.

The previous owner spent a boat load of money on the car getting it ready to sell - new optispark, water pump, alternator, thermostat, spark plugs, wires and both window regulators. It has a 3" Borla catback exhaust system.

It's missing one lug nut cap and has an aftermarket radio. I'm searching for a replacement OEM radio. The Corvette lettering on the bumpers has been inlaid with silver paint which I find tacky. I'll be undoing that.

I was reluctant to get a red car but this one is beautiful.

    Default phenomenal popularity

    img_0031-jpgimg_0028-jpgimg_0024-jpg
Funny but no one has mentioned how incredibly popular the 93 Z25 option was.
The commom phrase is "they're not rare".
Consistant buyer's comment "It was just such a beautiful car in that Ruby paint"

Possibly THE most popular "special production" Corvette ever.
Possibly the "best looking C4" marketed.

    Sometimes popularity trumps rarity.
If any one knows of a "special production "Corvette that outsold the RUBY Please "chime in"

Here are a few pictures of my Ruby. I purchased it from a friend and will be picking it up on 3/15. This will be my second Corvette. I have a 2008 Atomic Orange that I purchased new. I have always liked the C4's and when this deal came along, I could not pass it up. Unlike my 08 this one is an automatic. 65k miles on the clock.

    Default 40th Aniversery

I have had mine for almost one year now and i have put almost 11,000 miles on it.It now has 105,000 .I drive it every day .Rain, snow,I'am still sorting out little things.I had computer problems ,boy that was fun trying to find one on the shelf.Only 1992,1993 will work.found one in north central Ohio.Paid $500.00 for it .Came out of a 1992 that was wrecked back in 1993,the car only had less than 4,000 miles on it.Had been stored inside ever since.Ignition module,a/c compressor just to name a few things,Love the car.
