    Default tires

    Hi

    my ruby's back tires are getting worn and will need to be replaced in the spring
    whats a good tire?
    I have goodrich 255 45Z R17 on the front and
    Goodyear P315 35Z R17 on the rear now
    recomendations?

    Wow, you got 8.5 inch wheels in front with 10.5 in the back talk about staggered!!!!

    I recommend tire rack.com, do your own research there. Mine indicates good Kumho tires that are as good as anything are available for much less than overpriced Good for a Year tires or equivalent.

    in the front I have Vredesteins 285/40/17 and the rears Nittos 315/35/17...... rims in the front are 17X8.5 and the rear are 17X10... I will probably get some Nittos for the front sometime next month cause I hate running mix matched tires....

    are there any + or - regarding having the P315 on the back instead of the standard P285 40 zr-17

    Will be taking it to work couple time a week ( 60mi round trip ),
    weekend day trips to lakes and mountains in New hampshire and Vermont, waterfront in RI.

    Just crusing enjoying the scenery and the Vette.

    Not into driving fast and hard. Do like the cornering on winding roads.

    Just enjoy being in the car. Keeping road noise to a min would be a plus
