Schuylkill Valley Corvette Club

Schuylkill Valley Corvette Club

On behalf of our club Officers, Executive Board and all of the current members of the Schuylkill Valley Corvette Club I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. We are glad to have you as a member of our club and we hope that you will have a great time with us at the monthly meetings, traveling on trips and working at the yearly Corvette Car Show that our Club conducts at Bubeck Park in Schuylkill Haven.

We are an active club. We meet the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. February through April and October through November our meetings are held at the Schuylkill Haven Legion, off of Parkway by the Schuylkill Haven High Rise. The December meeting is held at our annual Christmas Party, held at the Pottsville Zone.  Our summer meetings, June through September, are held at the pavilion at Bubeck Park in Schuylkill Haven.

We plan 4 day get-away-trips, dinner trips, a yearly Mystery Trip, short trips to locations in our area that you may not have been to before. We attend surrounding counties’ Corvette Car Shows, Corvette’s at Carlisle and other interesting trips during the year. We always welcome suggestions for future trips from our members.

We are also a service club. With a portion of the money we earn at our May Cruise-in and our Corvette Show in September, we donate to 4 organizations in Schuylkill County. They are: Covenant Home Care and Hospice, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Hillside SPCA and the Pottsville Soup Kitchen.  In addition each year we sponsor the band on Saturday night of the Pottsville Cruise.

We, as members of the Schuylkill Valley Corvette Club, share a love of and an interest in America’s only TRUE sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette. Whether you drive a C1 or a C7 or any other class, they are truly magnificent automobiles that are a pleasure to own, drive and enjoy for many years.

So we welcome you to a club of friends who enjoy driving these beautiful cars, traveling safely and seeing the beautiful sights in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. I hope you enjoy being members of this club and that you will become actively involved. Please stay after each meeting, have some refreshments, and get to know the other club members.
