Vikingland Corvette Club

Vikingland Corvette Club was founded in 2011 by two Corvette owners from Alexandria, MN. The primary purpose of the club is to bring Corvette owners together to promote and share the common interest and pleasure in the owning and driving of such automobiles. We plan to be about more than Corvettes, though. We intend on being involved in some local parades and hosting our own car show at some point with the intent of inviting other Corvette Clubs around the state to join us. Volunteer opportunities and charity events will be planned around the area.

Wenatchee Valley Corvette Club

The Wenatchee Valley Corvette Club is a group of individuals who are committed to honoring the heritage of “the Great American sports car”, the Chevrolet Corvette. The club welcomes all individuals, young and old, who own a Corvette whatever the year, modified or stock. This is an organization that values fun and social interaction over rules and regulations. We encourage our members to actively participate in club meetings and events. We regularly solicit membership feedback and encourage members to give us their input on new projects, cruises and events. If you are a “Vette” driver the breath of Corvette data that will be available to you through club membership will be invaluable.History: John Kalahar, a retired baseball coach and teacher at Wenatchee Valley College started the club in 2010. John passed away in 2015 but because of his early work in 2010, many great things were about to happen. The event “Nothing but Vettes” was born in 2012 and was a success beyond all expectations. This event was and still is part of the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival. We planned on 30 cars and low and behold 60 cars showed up! There were shows in 2013, 2015 and 2016. Each show was more successful than the previous year. Recently, the club, under the leadership of Jim McDonald, formalized its structure by incorporating, adding a board of founding directors and restarted and upgraded our yearly show for April 29th 2017. See the events page for more details.

Western States Corvette Council

Often people ask us if the Western States Corvette Council is a Corvette Club, the answer is that we are a combination of clubs or often referred to as an “umbrella” organization. Clubs and their members make up the membership of WSCC which to date are 56 voting and non-voting Corvette clubs. Although our base is in N California, we have clubs from as far East as Colorado to the Pacific Southwest and Northwest including Alaska to the West. WSCC is also responsible for covering our “Council of Clubs” with general liability insurance, competitive driving event insurance and Directors and Officers insurance for the voting clubs under our umbrella. We also have a competition code, which governs the rules, regulations and organization of the various events that our clubs offer. WSCC enjoys a very good working relationship with General Motors and the National Corvette Museum. We have a seat on the Board of Directors of the National Corvette Museum along with the other two National Corvette Club organizations NCRS and NCCC.In 1965 a group of people put together an idea that the West should have it’s own Council of Clubs and on July 2, 1965 in Colorado Springs, Colorado Western States Corvette Council (WSCC) was founded. WSCC was incorporated in 1968 in Sacramento, California and is a 501(c) (7) not for profit organization.
