Midwest Early Corvette Club

People confuse our club's name to mean we only have members with early Corvettes (C1, C2 and C3). Quite the contrary, "early" for Midwest Early Corvettes Club (MECC) members has come to mean that we're early to the Chevrolet showrooms when the latest model is rolled out.Our club is known for our cars that are some of the best maintained in the surrounding Omaha area. Many of our members have restored Corvettes or are members of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). MECC members have Corvettes, old and new, that they show and shine, and use to cruise and dine.MECC members enjoy car shows, sponsored rallies, and monthly cruises (during warm weather) to name just a few events. In conjunction with other midwest car clubs, the Eastern Nebraska Western Iowa Car Council, the National Council of Corvette Clubs, the National Corvette Museum, Chevrolet and GM, members can attend other events and resources focused on the Corvette (America's True Sports Car!).

Miracle Strip Corvette Club

Miracle Strip Corvette Club was founded in 1967. After more than 45 years of shared Corvette enthusiasm, we are fortunate to have some of the founding members who still participate in our events. This ensures that the history of the Corvette is passed on to the next generation of Corvette owners and Corvette lovers. Our Members have Corvettes from every generation, C-1s to C-7s that are driven not just polished.MSCC offers a variety of events that allows the Corvette enthusiast to enjoy their Corvette to the fullest. Throughout the year, MSCC and its sister Corvette Clubs from New Orleans to Tallahassee offer road rallies, car shows and overnight excursions.MSCC enjoys a close working relationship with the National Museum of Naval Aviation at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. One of the high points is a Corvette Car Show held under the trees near the museum’s entrance. Pensacola, Florida is known as “The Cradle of Naval Aviation”. Pensacola has been training fledgling Naval Aviators and aircraft technicians from World War I to the present. For years, every new pilot had to buy a new Corvette as soon as he completed flight school. It was the only way they could get the same thrill with two feet (make that four tires) firmly on the ground. In the early Fall, MSCC hosts its signature “Vettes At The Beach” car show on Pensacola Beach. The “Vettes At The Beach” Corvette car show has grown from 60 Corvettes in 2003 to over 300 Corvettes in 2013. The show has grown from a small local show to a Corvette Car Show attracting Corvette enthusiasts from all over the country. Many come every year to join us for two days of friendship, good food, and beautiful cars. An added benefit is the sugar white sands of Pensacola Beach and the beautiful emerald green Gulf waters. In fact, Pensacola Beach was recently selected as one of TripAdvisor’s Top 25 Beaches in the U.S.

Mississinewa Valley Corvette Club

The Mississinewa Valley Corvette Club was originally founded in the early 1970s. It was mostly organized for racing events and to be a source of information to its members. Due to work and family obligations, the original club disbanded in the late 1970s.It wasn't until August of 1993, when Ron and Sheri George became interested in joining a Corvette Club, that they found out that the club was no longer around. After contacting several of the original members and the president of a Corvette club in Kokomo, Indiana, the idea of reforming the original club surfaced. Through a lot of hard work and gathering of information, our first meeting was planned. Four months later, the club had a name and we held our first Christmas Party. The difference between the original club and the present one is the fact that the club seems to be on a more social level. Although the club has not been around for a long period of time, interest in the club is growing. We spent the first year reorganizing, contacting original members, locating sponsors, forming a constitution and putting together some type of agenda for monthly meetings, as well as recruiting new members. We filled positions on our board of directors, opened a club account, and even became incorporated. We also joined the N.C.C.C., with activities throughout Indiana, as well as national events held in other states. With each passing year our membership has grown. Not only does the club try to offer a wide variety of activities but our members represent a great diversity of interests and occupations. Members range from factory workers to attorneys, school teachers to leading businessmen, from college students to retirees and homemakers. Each year the club will become more involved with the community whether it be through participating in local car shows, by organizing our own shows or by committing to a greater involvement personally and financially with local charities.
