Lancaster County Corvette Club

Thirty six years ago a local physician and an automobile mechanic who had a love for Corvettes ran an ad in the local newspaper which said " Attention Corvette Owners, any year, interested in starting a local club please give either of us a call. From that ad, a group of twenty-five Corvette owners came together to form the Lancaster County Corvette Club (LCCC), which is currently celebrating its thirty-sixth anniversary. Shortly after its formation the club voted to join the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC) and continues as a 100% club to this day. The current membership is 167 of which several are founding members. Club members own Corvettes ranging from a 1953 model to 2013 models and most years in between, pace cars, race cars, anniversary cars, and custom cars. LCCC member vehicles cover the Corvette spectrum. This year club members will conduct 10 national sanctioned events and 4 regional sanctioned events consisting of 6 low speed autocrosses and 8 people choice fun shows. Club members actively participate in both high and low speed events, drags, and concours, plus numerous parades, homecomings, charity events, and at least one social activity each month. This year two of our club members participated in the Tire Rack sponsored One Lap of America event and several members of the club attended the 2013 NCCC national convention held in Bowling Green, KY.When the club was formed a decision was made not only to support Corvette related activities but also to be an active supporter of local charities. From the very first event a commitment was made to donate either twenty-five percent of the proceeds to a selected charity or $25.00, which ever was greater. The commitment to support the selected charities continues to this day. In fact in past ten years alone the club has raised and donated over $260,000 to charity and in the process has won the Golden Eagle Award presented by Eagle One twice for this region. Additionally for the past 10 years club members have taken part in the Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania, Adopt-A-Highway program and have collected over 1100 bags of trash along our adopted section of highway. So when you think of Lancaster County, PA think of more than the Amish, buggies, and whoopie pies . Think of those fiberglass beauties with the horses under the hood - Corvettes and the Lancaster County Corvette Club.

Laurel Valley Corvette Club

Our Corvette club was established in 1980 in the Laurel Mountains valley town of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The club has expanded in the past 30 years to include over 100+ members from five adjoining counties of Southwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. Our club has always emphasized club activities that are beneficial to the members and to the local community as well. Our club participation in local events, such as the annual "Americanism Day Parade" in Uniontown, the Hopwood "National Pike Festival Parade" and the "Merrittstown - Independence Day Parade" are just some examples of our community involvement. Transporting the Laurel Highlands High School's Homecoming Court from the high school to the football field, via Corvette, is another. In 2010 our club celebrated its 30th Anniversary. We marked this milestone year with a family-style summer picnic, followed by a road trip to Corvette country - Bowling Green, Kentucky. Our club-member tour group visited the National Corvette Museum and the GM-Corvette assembly plant. Our club activities are enjoyed year-round with monthly membership meetings held January through October. Spring and autumn driving events include "Road Trips" with overnight stays. We have, and will continue to participate in larger-scale events such as the WPCCC Corvette Clubs Cruise, Corvettes @ Carlisle, and Corvette Museum events centered on the Corvette Assembly Plant. Our yearly activities end on a party note as we gather for the annual "Christmas Party / Dinner" in December. If you are enthusiastic about Corvettes and enjoy fun social events, the Laurel Valley Corvette Club is right for you!

Lawrence Corvette Club

History: Marcie and Dave Engstroms took out a classified ad in the Lawrence Journal World in February of 2003 looking for anyone interested in starting a corvette club in Lawrence, Kansas. That was the start of the "Lawrence Corvette Club". Our first official meeting was in March, 2003. Officers were elected and we were off and running! Crown Chevrolet is our sponsor and provides us with support and a place to meet. What we do: We meet and we eat. We drive and we eat. We decided to be a social club where people can discuss our cars, how to fix our cars, the weather, their kids, anything of interest. We all have a connection through our Corvettes. We travel to Corvette functions from Michigan to Illinois to Colorado to Arkansas to Kansas City and many other places. We have monthly Drive 'n Eats, that are fun short -trip events. The only prerequiste is you own a Corvette and fill out an application to join. You may visit anytime. We invite any Corvette owners interested to come to a meeting!
