Cumberland Valley Corvette Club

The Cumberland Valley Corvette Club was established in 1965 by a few Corvette owners who met in a parking lot on Sunday afternoons and swapped stories or cruised around. In 1967 the club incorporated and by 1970 joined the National Council of Corvette Clubs. We hold car shows, cruises and speed events, participate in local parades and support local charities each year. Since 1994 we have hosted a high performance driving school at Pocono Raceway every spring where participants can enjoy their cars at speed under controlled conditions. The event includes classroom and in-car instruction for novices. The club also conducts the timing and supports the autocross events at four Carlisle Events car shows every year, including Corvettes at Carlisle. Our club currently has over 200 members who enjoy a variety activities sponsored by CVCC; including car shows, cruises, overnight trips, autocross, high performance driving events, and social activities - even some occasional impromptu “ice cream runs”. We welcome any Corvette owner to join our club and join the fun!

Custom Classic Corvette Club

The origin of our club began in February 2009 in Chesapeake, Virginia where a small group of friends shared an interest in the Chevrolet Corvette. The group enjoyed frequent weekend outings and had a vision of establishing a Corvette Club with a positive purpose. At conception, the group informally assumed self-appointed Board Member positions of President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Collaboration began in establishing a club name, club colors of red, white, and navy blue, a club logo, a club mission and vision statement, and bylaws. The membership voted in the 1st elected club President in December 2010.These and other efforts ultimately resulted in the founding of what’s known today as Custom Classic Corvette Club. Our focus remains to foster a welcomed environment where Corvette enthusiasts can fellowship while supporting charitable causes throughout our communities.

Cyclone Corvettes

Cyclone Corvettes, Inc. was organized in January 1978 after three local Corvette owners "found" each other and mutually concluded that such an organization was needed in the Ames area. The truth of that conclusion was borne out by initial interest and membership from 20 local members. From those humble beginnings, CCI has grown to a current membership over more than 150 Corvette enthusiasts!Well over 50,000 people belong to the more than 500 Corvette clubs across America. Although many of these clubs have affiliated into regional and national groups, CCI remains an independent organization primarily concerned with local activities, but still reaching out to other clubs, charities and community groups.Cyclone Corvettes, Inc. was officially chartered as a non-profit corporation by the State of Iowa on May 12, 1978.

The East Tennessee Corvette Club (ETCC) was founded in 1958 by Archie Clark (President), Bill Johnson, Jerry Thornton, and John Wagner in Maryville, Tennessee. It met there for several years before moving to Beaty Chevrolet in Knoxville in 1961. In 1965 the club moved to the Holston Recreation Center and continued to meet there through 1966. In 1967, the club returned to Beaty Chevrolet. In 1968 Reeder Chevrolet built a new dealership and the club moved to that location. The club still meets there today and Reeder Chevrolet has consistently been a strong supporter of the club's events.Byron Cooper is the longest active member having joined in April 1965. Byron remembers some years when there were only four or five active members. The club has grown over the years and now has over 300 active members. The club offers activities for those interested in car shows, touring, and parties. The club meets once each month and plans an event for every month.
