Corvettes of the North

Corvette's of the North is dedicated to sharing the fun and enjoyment of owning America's own star spangled sports car. Members get together twice a month during the road months (May through October) for rallies, road tours, and other local celebrations. We get together once a month during the off-road months (November though April), for outings without their Vettes.....Las Vegas Night, Christmas Party, Super Bowl, etc. Our yearly calendar is set in March at a special meeting where all members are welcome to suggest events and activities to be voted on by the membership. We have one major work event per year, the Wisconsin Rapids Cruise & Concert in August, in which all members are expected to participate. The funds from this event, along with our annual dues finance the club, but more importantly support the Wood County Rescue Squad Equipment fund, scholarships at Mid-State Technical Collage & North Central Technical Collage in the automotive field and many other charities. History:Our Club was started in Merrill, Wisconsin, in September of 1972. At that time the club was known as “North Central Corvette Club". After some time the name of the Club was changed to the current name “Corvettes of the North". The club was started for people that were proud of the sports car that they owned; to have the ability to get together and experience the knowledge, fun and driving excitement their cars offered. Along with the thrill of owning a Corvette came the special ties they had with other Corvette owners. They had meetings almost every month to plan for upcoming events and things that the members had done for the Club. They worked with area businesses, to allow discounts for the members and they in turn would then patronage those businesses. They did fundraisers for area organizations that needed the help. One of the first donations was to “The Rawhide Boys Ranch".Every year Corvettes of the North gives thousands of dollars to area organizations of Central Wisconsin as donations, scholarships, etc. We are proud of our cars, our people and the area we live in.If you have the same passion that we have for the Corvette and want to be part of an awesome group of people that have fun with their cars and friends then please use the contact link above to get more info.

Corvettes of Tyler

Sometimes we'll do a road trip to go to breakfast or dinner somewhere around East Texas. Anyone with an interest in Corvettes is welcome to come. (Corvette ownership not required)! Just check the events page to find out where we are meeting that week. We are a rather casual organization with no officers or dues, just a bunch of Corvette enthusiasts who like to get together and talk cars and enjoy each others company.

Corvettes on the Gulf

Corvettes on the Gulf is a local car club with approximately 200 plus members whose goal is to have fun and to enjoy Corvettes, the true American Sports Car. But the club’s fun is more than just looking at Corvettes. The club is also a charity organization and participates in activities focused on helping others in and around the community. We have sponsored several car shows which have resulted in large donations to local charities. That does not mean that we do not also enjoy ourselves. The Club caravans to monthly dinners in different places around the area. We have a picnic each summer for all members and their families, plus a super Holiday party each January.Corvettes on the Gulf is a social club made up of local Corvette owners. Our unofficial mission statement reads: To establish an association whereby Gulf Coast area Corvette owners and their families can meet, socialize, have fun, help others in need, and appreciate the only true sports car of America. And that is what we are all about; fun, socializing among ourselves and with other Corvette clubs in the area, and enjoying our Corvettes. We meet the fourth Monday of each month where we discuss and plan club activities which consist of entering or attending area car shows, monthly dinners in nearby restaurants, and other social events to be enjoyed by all. Most events attended by the club involve caravanning from a meeting place to the event. This is a very impressive sight when the number of Corvettes reaches higher numbers. At present we are 200 strong and growing. But we are looking to double that number and feel it can be done with the number of Corvettes in this area. If you have any interest or are at least curious about this fine club, please join us at our next meeting on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Harney Point Post 8463 located at 4709 SE 11th Place in Cape Coral. Attendance does not commit you to anything.
