Vetted Corvette Club

Vetted Car Club was founded in 2013 by Big Mike and Chris who originally met in San Jose Job Corps in the early 90's. The club was formed with the hope of creating a group of fellow Corvette owners and enthusiasts who like to drive. We are not a traditional car club as we do not collect dues or have mandatory meetings. We operate by finding out everybody's availability and mutually deciding where to ride out or cruise. All generations - cars (Corvettes of course) and people - are welcomed.WE JUST WANT TO RIDE! Vetted is the Right Club for the right Corvette owners that love to go on GREAT DRIVES & HAVE EVEN GREATER TIMES .

Vettes of Coastal Maine

Vettes of Coastal Maine is a Maine Corvette Club that was organized in 1977 by Corvette enthusiasts for Corvette enthusiasts. We are founding members of the New England Corvette Council and actively participate with neighboring clubs in Corvette activities throughout New England, as well as with our Canadian friends primarily in the Maritime Provinces. Our Corvette Group has grown and now stretches from Southern Maine through the Kennebec Valley and into Downeast Maine. All Corvette enthusiasts are welcome to join. The Club’s mix of singles and couples, from twenty-something’s to those in retirement, brings diversity and a full range of interests to all activities. We are an IRS recognized Section 501(c)(7) tax-exempt social club. Our members enjoy the company of other Corvette enthusiasts. Naturally, we talk a lot about Corvettes, and the mutual interest provides a network for technical help and advice, information on where to find what you might need, sharing our resources and great car stories. Our cruising season begins early and starts out with our Club’s featured event – a long-weekend gathering in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine on the weekend following Memorial Day. This event annually attracts Corvettes of all generations, not only from Maine and New England, but also from the Canadian Maritimes and the Midwestern States. The event features a Corvette display, cruises on the roads of Acadia National Park, visits to nearby towns and villages, and, of course, dining, shopping and socializing. It also assists the Club with charitable giving – since inception, the Club has donated thousands of dollars to charities throughout Maine.Like all Corvette enthusiasts we like to travel together, enjoying each other’s company on long runs to “Corvettes at Carlisle” or on short trips to the nearest cruise night. Summers can be short but we take full advantage of every spectacular day we can to cruise in our Vettes. Club activities might include potluck suppers rotating around to different members’ homes, restaurant get-togethers all year round, picnics, visits to natural wonders, tours of points of interest, and whatever else might be appealing to Club members. We slow down a bit during the winter, but usually continue to meet once a month with an activity to help to make the short winter days and long winter nights pass until we can cruise in our Vettes again.
