About

The Touch of Glass Corvette Club of Lake County, Inc. was founded on June 7, 2009, by a group of Corvette enthusiasts who felt there was a need for a club in the Eustis, Mount Dora, and Tavares area.  That group became the steering committee and met numerous times to create a club name, logo, and develop a set of Bi-Laws. Vann Gannaway Chevrolet agreed to be the club sponsor, and offered  space at their dealership for the club to hold its meetings, as well as a 10% discount on parts and service.

The first official  meeting of the club was held on September 9, 2009, with a handfull of enthusiastic Corvette owners in attendance.  Since that first meeting the club has participated in the Tavares Christmas and 4th of July parades, Vettefest,  the NCRS event held at Old Town in Kissimmee, Georgefest in Eustis, and many other local car cruises.  For over a year the club hosted the Eustis monthly Cruise-In  on the 4th Sat. of every month.

The Club also hosted its sixth annual GM show at Vann Gannaway on November 5, 2016.  Thanks to the members' efforts with the last five  shows, the club has been able to donate $5,500 to Cornerstone Hospice, and this year donated 123 lbs. of food to the Leesburg Food Pantry.

We are proud to announce that we are now members of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky!
