Lake Cumberland Corvettes

In August 2003, a group of Corvette enthusiasts got together and decided to form a club made up of people with a similar passion for America's sports car, the Corvette.

From this desire Lake Cumberland Corvettes became a reality.

The club is located in Somerset, Kentucky - the home of beautiful Lake Cumberland.

Today we have members from many parts of the Central Kentucky area.

The main objectives of our group are to

  • Enjoy our Corvettes!
  • Meet new friends
  • Go places, and
  • Have a Great Time!

Each year we participate in car shows, cruises, and parades. Of course, we also enjoy finding a great place to eat.

The Club's various activities have been featured numerous times in the local newspaper -  The Commonwealth Journal.  Our first newspaper article featured a front page picture with five C3 Corvettes taken on Lake Cumberland at Pulaski County Park.

We are a non-profit organization and actively provide financial assistance to needy organizations in the community.  Some charitable activities have included "Toys for Tots" and "Toys for Iraqi Children" at Christmas. We have raised money for the American Cancer Society through the "Love Lights a Tree" and "Relay for Life" programs.

We became incorporated on May 25, 2004 and have General Motors approval for our club.

Our club joined the National Corvette Museum on  March 14, 2005. Within the  club, we have several members who  have family memberships.
