2020 C8 Mid-Engine Corvette

The day has finally come for Chevrolet to finally reveal the 2020 mid-engine C8 Corvette to the world.

The live stream will be broadcast from the Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin, California tonight starting at 7:50 PM PDT (10:50 EDT) with the actual show beginning at 8:00 PDT (11:00 EDT).

GM has invited more than 250 media outlets, 160 Corvette owners, 90 celebrities and influencers and 500 Elite Leaders to the reveal event, and from what we’ve heard, GM is anticipating that this will be one of the biggest unveiling events in nearly 100 years of GM history.

Any 2020 Corvette Details Yet?

While media outlets and top Chevrolet dealers across the country had to sign their lives away in the form of confidentiality agreements, you should probably be prepared to expect the unexpected. The rumor mill has continued to churn away right up to today.

Many of the artists and graphic designers who worked so diligently over the last couple of years to develop all of the cool looking Photoshop renderings based on the spy photos, may be the most disappointed. Corvette Engineers have gone to great lengths to hide the svelte, sharpened body of the mid-engine Corvette under all of that camouflage. With all that GM has riding on this new generation of Corvette, be prepared to be blown away!

As for the starting price, expect the base 2020 Corvette Stingray to start at just a little over $5,000 more than the starting MSRP of a 2019 Stingray which is currently at $55,495. That should finally silence all the whining snow-flakes out there who have spent the last couple of years chastising GM and wrongly assuming that the starting price of a new Corvette would be priced into the stratosphere.

Regardless of all of the rumors, all will be revealed, tonight, starting at 8:00 PM PDT (11:00 EDT) and you’ll be able to watch it all right here!
