The radio may lose one or more functions, or may lock up with no functions, on the 1990-91 Y Car. Some of the symptoms may be: loss of tape eject, no visible display, no change of function when buttons are pushed, or the radio may just show the time.
In addition, for 1990 models only, air conditioning faults may occur at the same time as the radio fault. Correcting the radio will also correct the air conditioning.
Remove radio following Service Manual instructions. Send to your local radio repair station, and note on the repair ticket, "Repair per Delco Electronics Bulletin RD91TBA03".
