The $240 million slugger finally hit a home run for the Los Angeles Angels, ending the longest power drought of his career Sunday in a 4-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

He could have stayed here in St. Louis and been revered much like Stan the Man. However he took the money and ran and look where it got him. The general feeling I get from friends and reading the newspaper is the Cards made the right decision. I also liked Tony but Mike Matheny is doing a great job so far. Definitely a different vibe from the team this year.
