With a 89 you have a dual-mass flywheel ... pricey in itself! ... and, sadly, the shop manual says the dual-mass must be replaced (and not resurfaced) if in a worn condition.

So with that said I...

To everyone, I am just curious, why avoid sticking with the dualmass when replacing the clutch set-up ? Is it the price of a dual-mass that is a turn-off or does the Fidanza just have that much...

JC LT4 vs LT1 I was under the impression same engine with bigger valves and ports (and other internals) and a 30 HP gain and about ten more pounds of torque. Have I got it wrong?
