FunFest Attendees

I arrived tonight (Thursday) around 9:30 local time.

Jen and I are in the Days Inn, second building. Room 156. My vette is pretty much all by itself back here

Don't know if anyone is meeting up tonight or not. I'll probably just call it a night so I can be up tomorrow morning.

unfortunately, I brought my camera but forgot my data cable. And my laptop doesn't have a card reader. So no pics from me...

Amusingly, I've had a couple people recognize me as "Blender Boy",

"Sorry, that's a CruiseFest-only event, folks."

Which by the way, is June 9th, 2011!

The Guess Who concert and then backstage autographs. I have some original album jackets that I brought with me. And Mike Yeager gave me a set list from the stage.

yep, the weather held out until Saturday night after the concert. Today (Sunday) was on & off rain. Mostly wet overall.

Had a great weekend. Arrived late Fri afternoon. Sat AM it's off to Funfest Vettes Vettes and more Vettes. Everywhere I look there is a field of Vettes. Parked in the CAC area and met a couple of folks there but then POOF we were gone to the grounds. Took in a number of seminars with a lot of good information. Scored a $25 door prize at one of the seminars that was a surprise. Just the incentive I needed to buy some goodies. Enjoyed the Guess Who concert Sat evening. Split about 930 to avoid grand exodus. Back on Sun for a few more seminars. On the way there on the hwy 45 exit ramp a C3 went into the weeds on the slick pavement. No apparent harm drove it back onto the road just need to picj the weeds out form under it. Even being damp on Sun it was a great weekend
