Default CAC Group parking at FunFest 2010. Sept 17th-19th

    Hi all,

We are once again making arrangements for Corvette Action Center group parking at Mid America Motorworks FunFest for Corvette. This event is in Effingham, IL September 17, 18, & 19 2010. For more information on this years event see the following link:

    http://corvettefunfest.com/

This will be the 5th year that we've made group parking arrangements and I've got to say it really adds to the fun. Its an excellent opertunity to meet some of your fellow CAC members face-to-face. I love getting together with CAC friends old and new.

All we need to know is how many cars are coming and how much space to allocate for tents. If you would like to park with us please vote yes in the attached pole. This is our count. Then post in this thread stating your intention to park with us. This tells me to add your user name to my list.
All fast cars are fun but, an old Vette is a work of art.

That's alright. I'm pretty sure we'll recognize you. I've certainly shown up in a variety of cars over the years.

I will be there but not able to park with all of you. Maybe all of you would like to come park with me. I will be parked in the For Sale area, selling one of my Corvettes. If you do not want to park there I will understand. I just hope you stop by and say hello. Vince and I will be staying at the same Days Inn that we all stayed at for the CAC Cruise Inn. Anyone else staying there?

Well, my car is always for sale, but I don't think anyone will offer me what I want for it. So I'll be sticking with the main group. Yeah, I'll be back at the Days Inn.

    The usual suspects I see.

John, thanks to you for organizing the VIP parking again for CAC. This year will be Funfest #5 for me and parking with the group has always added significantly to the experience. And it's nice that even though you are now driving an award-winning showcar, you're still part of the gang! (the award was justly deserved and that trophy was very cool).

I've signed up for parking, registered with MidAmerica, got my hotel room....am I missing anything?
Look for me at Fun Fest '12, I'll be parked on the finish line!"

Scott: I usually try to leave that to the absolute last minute.

Hey, what about your "arrangement" with Mike this year? Are you getting the full VIP treatment like usual? Maybe you could get us assigned for parking in the same area as '07 just south of the tents. That was really close to the seminar tents and other activities. Just a thought......

My arrangement was with Nancy and she is no longer with MAM....
Time will tell and I will do what I can...

Since I will be driving a C4, we might not get parking at all...lol
You, Greg, John, and myself, that is 4 C4's

Someone would have to be insane to pay enough to get me to part with mine. We'll stop by and say hi though. We're staying at the Super 8 across the street from Days Inn.

Really. I thought I saw a dust particulate on one of the tires at CruseFest. I think he slipping.
