I will be there but will have a carin the For Sale area so if you make it to Funfest please stop by and just say Hi. Maybe if CAC can get enough members to attend then we can get a place where all CAC members can park together. What do you think?

Just wanted to share this important information with this group - I heard yesterday that there are still 10-12 Suites at the Hilton in Effingham that are open for Corvette Funfest and that Holiday Inn Express in Effingham has several rooms still open. If staying at Holiday Inn Express, book your room online, it is cheaper than if you call them.

Last year when I was attending FF, I decided that I was going to return in 2010. But then I purchased a Z06 in February 2010 and signed up for the NCM Z06 bash which is the same weekend as FF. So, I will not be attending FF this year, but maybe next year. As I remember vividly, last year we were flooded out and the fields were in deep water. Took me several hours to get all the grass out of my wheel wells when I got home. Hopefully, we had all the rain during the CAC CF in June, so it will remain dry for FF. One item of note, when I attend any event at MAMW, I usually purchase accessories. I found that you still get 10% off when you order from the catalog desk tent on-site while at FF rather than buying from the sales tents. Plus you get free shipping and no sales tax. However, I found several bargains in the tents, so shop wisely.
