2010 Carmaro Story, Is it true.

I know this is a Corvette forum but, I can't believe this tale and wonder if anyone knows if it is true. I have read on a Camaro forum that in order to replace the heater box on the '10 Camaro the windshield has to be taken out. The windshield has to come out in order for the dash to be removed. That is because there are two long bolts that hold the dash and they can't come out with the windshield in place. Seems difficult to believe the engineering department would approve such a design but, you never know.

FWIW... I've not heard that but if those experienced with the tech aspects of the Camaro say it's so... ?
