    Sweet ride... I've always liked the look of the first generation Monte Carlos.

    This 57 Chevy could certainly use a paint job.
    Check out the combination generator/power steering unit. She also has power brakes.

    That is a nice looking car. I had a 70 monte back then. It had factory fender skirts which must have been rare because I don't see many restored montes with them. I always thought it was one of the best looking cars that I have owned.

    I don't think Monte Carlo's get as much attention as they should. Some are better years than others. I had a new 1986 that looked pretty good but the fuel mileage was terrible with the 305.

    I searched through my old files and found a photo of my 1986 Monte Carlo. It was almost new when I took this photo in Lubbock Texas.
