Default Stent and stone's Holy crap

Holy crap. Last week a stent (heart). Cake job. Better than a dentist trip. Now the kidney stone scenario. Going over to hosp for the bottle test.

Ouch. I've had the stones a couple times and it has to be the worst pain imaginable. I'm told by female co-workers that it's worse than childbirth, and all you have to show for it is a grain of sand.

    I feel your pain.

I'd have sworn it was going to be the size of a bowling ball with long jagged spikes all over it when I went through it!!!

Once it's through though, it's like instant relief.

Drink beer....lots of it...it'll help numb the pain and you'll be pee'in by the gallons.

I had one 6 years ago. In the hospital for 36 hours on IV fluids to "wash it out".... no luck. Ended up having to go in after it........NOT FUN AT ALL.

Sorry for the pun but, I feel your pain and I hope that you are able to pass it on your own.

Did you say grain of sand? I've been to the hospital three times earlier this year for them. The last one was 6.5mm! That, of course, prompted a lot of .

    I feel for you Bob!

    Thanks all.

4 AM had bad pain but I pulled a sly one. Slept on the couch in the sitting position, therefore it only feels like the front wheels of the truck is running over ya.
Worked my way to a standing position, with walking not too bad. Headed up stairs to collect a sample. Oh my if the sand or marble comes now....... well whatever. Everyting went as it should. Took it to the lab at the hosp, a whole 5 blocks away. Have had just minut pain today.

Stay tuned for more on the stent and stone / stones episode.

All indications size of the stone makes little difference as to the amount of pain. All BAD and that ain't good.

I know it's not funny at all, but Stent & Stone sounds like it should be a comedy act. I hope all goes well!!!

Yeh! I was thinking more of a horror act.
    Gotta have a little fun.

Has anyone passed a stone without pain?

Yeah, Stents and Stones may break my bones but fluids will never hurt me.

Wow that was awful. My apologies.
