Considering I'm not even 40 yet, you're not exactly making me feel any better.

I've had 6 angioplasties since '97 with the last performed in '05. I have 8 stents. The only pain felt was the cardiologist administering the anesthetic into the groin area. I only felt the first two pokes, after that nothing.

Bob, when they administered the dye into the arteries did you get that "warm all over" feeling like you were going to c**p your pants?

Hope everything goes well for you.

Brian & all. The injections weren't more than a normal injection. She gave me sumpin she said "would help to settle me". While I wasn't the least bit un-settled.
I've had two eye operations with no problems of anxiety. I'll say after the second one, for whatever reason, I wouldn't have been happy, at all, to have one the next day but a few days later I would of had no problem.

As for the hots. No. A little for a short time but not like I've heard it reacts. Had it with some other test couple months ago with minimal heat.
Had the tread mill liquid job at the same time. Which ever one did it, I felt not A 1 the rest of the day. When I do the walker I'm fine.
    Thanks.
It's midnight now. Just urinated and only have a tinge of pain in lower left back. C what 5 AM brings.

    Stent & Stone
Stent is behaving. Stone??????????? Nites bad. Days were ok till yesterday afternoon and some pain. Just uncomfortable at times. This am, Mon, carried on some. This afternoon a little of it.
Pain is worst in middle nite and after rising it works away.
Today starts the third week. Urine test ok.

    Let me ask.....
Moving slightly when at worst brings the pain to the extremes. Seems somewhat eratic for a stone. Seems to me as I move it is more of a muscle or whatever that is being adjatated.
Has yours lasted this length without subsiding or coming out?

Don't recall the time frame of the first episode some five years ago.

Mine lasted about 40 hours before I had it removed, so I can't relate to what you're going through. And I do feel for you, can't image how that would be lasting that long.

I've heard or read somewhere that you can have something like ultrasound to blast the stone into small fragments making passing easier. Are you eligible for such a treatment?

I'm waiting for Doctors office to call now in regards to an appointment for Monday or Tuesday to go to hospital for some sort of sound test. Not sure what I have. Wed and Thur morning about 8 had stomach cramps which she, nurse, said probably isn[t related being the flu or sumpin. Pain wasn't bad this morning in the back but still available. Hurts just certian movements. Wait n c.

Not sure of the eligible but will have to c about that also.

I wasn't a good candidate when I had mine because it was too low in the urethra and the sound waves would have been absorbed by the pelvis bone. They say it works pretty well when the stone is lodged in the kidney.

Yea, I remember asking about the urologist about that he just laughed and said it wouldn't work for me.

Finishing week 3. Monday starts week 4.
This morning was baaaad till I got moving. Had some discomfort most of the day. Not bad. If I sit and move the wrong way it barks. Barks heck. It bites.

OK. Wife says, "probably arthur-itis". Anyone have it, arthur", that it behaves as such?
Would a stone behave as such for 3 weeks.?
Monday go for an ultrasound or Puegot Sound.

    Have a good Sunday all.
