Default "The Wave" is still alive - even if you do drive a FORD

    Hi All,

Not passed by for a while since I sold my Vette, been on my travels but eventually ended up back in the UK again digging in for the forthcoming winter. As you have no doubt heard me say before American Iron is few and far between where I stay and sightings are rare but for some reason I hav'nt figured out pick-up trucks and vans seem to have become popular even with petrol getting on for about 5 quid a gallon, in your money about 10 bucks.

I never did have much sense and I am running around in my F350 Dually these day and on my way home tonight I got a wave from an oncoming day-van and as it drew closer I saw the Chevy badge on the front.

Makes me kind of think I should be driving a Vette again, can't be any worse fuel consumption.

I think a Vette would get a lot better fuel mileage than a F-350!
